GumGum developed a study using Nielsen DBE to compare the effectiveness of its unique ad formats against standard banner ads in the ability to drive purchase intent.
To determine if GumGum’s proprietary creative formats are more effective in driving purchase intent than standard banners.
Launched a campaign with GumGum's In-Image and
In-Screen Scroll formats, as well as standard display creative, with even factors for both creative formats.
Used Nielsen to show purchase intent driven by GumGum high-impact creatives separately from GumGum’s standard banners to show variations in purchase intent lift.
GumGum's high impact units drove double the purchase intent lift and required less than half the number of impressions than standard banners.
